Like the renowned wisteria vine, Jan's Central Florida roots run deep. She is a native Floridian, born and raised in Orlando and has had family in the Orlando area since the early 1920's. As Jan thought about a name for her company, she remembered the Wisteria vines hanging from the trees on the orange grove where she lived as a child. Jan's admiration for the flowering vine inspired her to name her company Wisteria Realty. Like the flower, the unmistakable, beautiful purple color is used in her signs and marketing materials to set her apart from other real estate firms. Due to the popularity of the flower, the name Wisteria Realty is easily recognized and remembered.
